2010 Porsche Panamera Review

by Richard on Oct.28, 2009, under Car Reviews

It has been a couple of years since Porsche introduced the Cayenne, their first SUV. While the Cayenne is not loved by critics and purists, there is a lot of them on the road, so the public loves them.

Now Porsche has entered the luxury 4 door sedan (or saloon) market and have set their sights on the Mercedes S-class, the BMW 7-series and others. Can they pull it off?

Panamera To Stop Once It Starts?

by Richard on Sep.03, 2009, under Car Reviews

Porsche has invested Millions of $$ to develop to the Porsche Panamera sedan.

According to Rumor: Porsche’s New Owners To Nix Cayenne, Panamera it is only going to last a couple of years then be gone.

The rumor is that VW (now the owner of the Porsche brand) makes enough sedans and does not need a sports car manufacturer to make one. There has been a lot of news in the press and from Porsche lovers that they should have never made the Panamera in the first place.

I think it is remarkable they were looking to take on such a bold project. I love the look the 911 but I also quite like the look of the Panamera. I know it is a sedan, but why have two sets of keys, one for the weekday sedan and the other for the weekend 911? Why not drive a practical sporty car all the time? I hope I get the chance to drive one, I bet it is quite a hoot.

They have also mentioned that the SUV Cayenne is going to be going away in the next few years. I am not a fan of SUVs in general but from those who are into SUVs I have been told it is quite good. Quite a shame really.

There are many good used Porsche Cayenne available for good prices if you are interested and there should be more for years to come.
