The Road As A Canvas

Today I had to try the new Porsche 911 Carrera with the new PDK transmission and direct fuel injection.

First, the important bit. Wow. That is almost all that needs to be said. It is an incredibly power and fun car to drive. It is quite a bit different than the boxster. You can just keep putting out more power from that 3.6L flat six. The fact that it has almost 100 HP more than the boxster does go a long way to how it drives.

I recently had the good fortune to take a 2003 911 turbo around the block.

From the outside it is an absolutely stunning car, just by looking at the shape and the size of the tires and spoiler you know it has power. When you start it the engine and exhaust tell your ears how much power it is.
